Allow rest on spot when confused

Allow rest on spot when confused
Mostly to alleviate the pain of waiting for the confuse effect to go away whilst in a corridor.
Re: Allow rest on spot when confused
Can't you just hit 5 to stay on the same spot? Or am I misunderstanding your idea?
Re: Allow rest on spot when confused
I believe this has been well addressed in another thread (or threads) quite well, the post I'm thinking of is *probably* by Aquillion since he does seem to do a bang-up job of explaining game stuff clearly, but it was something along the lines of:
- Usually when confused you want to run away from a monster rather than sit still and get beat on
- If you try to run away and instead melee an enemy, well, that's often the next-best thing you could do with your turn anyway since talent use is mostly bupkus
- In the case of corridors or in general the cases where a 'confused attempted move' bumps into a wall, instead of doing nothing, the move should be rerolled until an actionable direction is randomly chosen (heading into clear space or 'into' a monster)
Do these points address your concerns?
