I'm playing a Paradox Mage heavily invested in Gravity. The lack of a spellshaping-style talent is frustrating, since Gravity Well can have such a large area-of-effect. I think that Repulsion Field should negate the effects of any Gravity talents while active, especially Gravity Well. It would make the large area-of-effect less of a burden on the player to stack physical resistance/physical save/pin immunity (or intentionally keep the talent level low).
Edit: Just going to add that Repulsion Blast rarely knocks back enemies. It could use a bit of help in the knockback department.

Immune to "Gravity" while Repulsion Field is active
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).

Interesting idea.
If you're referring to it getting resisted, repulsion blast uses the exact same hit checks as other knockback effects.
