Through various methods, it's possible for an alchemist's golem to end up with money.
This can happen if you have them walk into a shop and sell stuff, or (I believe) simply by controlling them as they walk over gold. As far as I can tell, there's no way to transfer the gold to your alchemist; while you can spend it as a golem, you can't (for instance) buy a 200 gold item if you have 100 gold on your golem and 100 on your alchemist.
Being able to walk into a shop and sell stuff as a golem is nice, if you're using it to carry a bunch of worthless stuff early on before you have the chest. So, basically, it'd be nice if the golem's gold and the player's were pooled.
(This could also apply to other sources of controllable allies; I'm not sure.)
Pool Golem money with the player's.

Re: Pool Golem money with the player's.
Alternatively, a method to drop gold would solve this.
