Demon Race

Proposing a new race, the Demons. They would be unlockable by saving Melinda, have a new starting location, similar to the skeleton/ghoul one, have townspeople hostile by default, and have the following stats:

Strength: +3
Dexterity: -1
Magic: +2
Willpower: -1
Cunning: +3
Constitution: -2
Luck: -5
Experience per Level: 135%
Life per Level 12

and the following racial tree:

Racial/Demon

Demonic Trickery: Passive 25 cooldown, sustained, instant cast
Makes all townspeople friendly, and enemies up to normal rank have a (5 * talent)% chance to see you as a friend, and not become hostile to you on sight. Checks your mindpower against their mental saves for resistance

Winged Flight: 15 (18, 16, 14, 12, 10) cooldown, (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) range
Targeted travelling within LoS, like dimensional step or ghoulish leap

Hellbound Body: passive
+(5 * talent)% dark, disease, blight, and fire resistances, +(2 * talent) max resistances for these as well.

Binding Pact: 50 cooldown, 10 range, instant cast
Makes the target forget its target, and switches the its faction to yours for (3 * talent) turns. It will attack your enemies, as well as being attacked by them. It will not be hostile to you unless you attack it within the duration. Checks your mindpower against their mental saves for resistance

This still needs lore, balance, and lots of feedback.

Why not scratch the "townspeople hate you" part and make it a passive, since there's not that much opportunity to lose the effect, there seems to be little point in making it a sustain. Unless you're giving it a resource cost - reduced health while it's active? That'd be interesting...

Maybe make investing points above 1 slightly more attractive, like also reduce cooldown so its (14,13,12,11,10)?

Resistable Mindpower vs Mindpower?
Ghoul never existed, this never happened!

Good ideas, added to main post, but low level Winged Flight seems too powerful now, so I changed it to (18, 16, 14, 12, 10). Also added a saving throw check for Trickery.
