Idea for sorting

Hey! Long time player, first time poster. Here's an idea I thought of just to make inventory a little bit easier to manage.
Some kind of sorting system: In the inventory screen, make it so you're able to see only one type of item at a time (the rest are hidden). ie. View only weapons, view only armors, view only wands, etc. That would make it a little easier than to search the entire inventory list. I thought of possibly using hotkeys. ie. pressing F2 in the inventory screen will switch to "view only weapons", F3 "view only armors", etc. Of course, if someone bumped a sorting key on accident, they might be led to believe that 90% of their gear is missing!

A string search option to search for things that contain the phrase you specify would be nice... or "search by character," where it searches for everything in your inventory that uses the character you typed in, in ASCII/notile mode. Hm.. and "view only egoed/nonegoed/artifacts/blues/purples"
