Different gem stats for telekinetic focus

Currently, gems have the same effects in telekinetic grasp as in other sources (rings, imbue item, gem golem, Limmir). It would add some more utility to mindslayers if the gems would have different effects for them, mainly focusing around modifying melee combat and aura spiking (or just one), based around the effects of alchemist's gems. Some ideas:

(agate/opal/onyx/ruby/diamond) +5-25% spike damage, +5-25 physical power
bloodstone- heals 10% max health on aura spike, 20% chance to leech 30% damage dealt on attack
(Spinel/aquamarine/lapis lazuli) regenerates a small amount of psi on attacks/spikes.
(CItrine/Topaz) +10/30 accuracy, +1/3 range for spikes.
some could also do elemental damage similar to their alchemical gem counterparts.

Not sure about the rest of the gems, and the fact that these effects would be tailor made for mindslayers makes them more powerful. The reason that I want this is because currently there is no reason to use a gem as a focus as a melee mindslayer, as double greater ego weapons generally are better than gems, even before Beyond the Flesh is considered.
