Switching characters takes a turn?
I don't really like this... especially if I want to use Golem:Taunt to get myself out of a bad situation. If I'm not already controlling the golem, and I'm usually not, it leaves 1 turn open for an enemy to attack. With a mage class that could mean the difference between life and death.

I've noticed this too. What I think is going on here, is that you and your golem don't go at the same time. just like enemies, you each have your own speed, and take your respective turns when your position in the initiative order comes up. Normally, it looks like everything is happening at once, but that's just because the game fast-forwards until your next turn. Therefore, when you switch characters, the game puts your alchemist on AI (i think it gets a turn...you might have to check that) and then fast-forwards to your golem's turn. If you could switch characters without any time passing in between, you could probably do something sketchy with speed runes on one character to gain additional turns with the other, or something like that. So there's a good chance this isn't going to change any time soon. On the other hand, there's a good chance that not ALL of your enemies will go before you get your golem's taunt off (you'll have to check that one, too)

Well put
Sadly there is not much I can do :/
Party members are grouped together in the entities list so switching from one to the NEXT one is mostly free, but switching the other way around is not :/

[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD

It might be a little less painful if you could control the current party members last turn before the switch happens. That could get a little cumbersome, but at least there wouldn't be so much of a feeling of lost turns. Also, fewer turns for your other guy to be under the control of that silly, silly AI.
