Quick prodigy question - I Can Carry The World

First time trying this prodigy. Just got to level 30. Got a Bulwark build and I assume 'I Can Carry The World' must be the best choice if the STR exceeds the level cap.

I have 60 STR. Will this prodigy give me 110 STR?

When choosing it, nothing happens. I want to see how much the STR boost affects for instance Shattering Shout. Will the effects first show after I 'accept the changes' or will the STR not go higher than 60?

Well, I can answer this one myself now. The effects on other skills are not shown at the same time you choose a prodigy. You need to choose it and see the effects afterwards.
