Do you miss alchemist quests/escorts in EoR expansion?

I don't even remember to do the alchemist rewards in the main campaign, so no.

I miss escorts more. The psi machine doesn't make up for it completely.

Really? You don't mind missing out on the +2 class skill points, 2 general skills points, crit chance bonus, the rewards for getting all 3 with one alchemist?

They really aren't as important as people think they are.

Also the psimachine gives less possibilities to learn BUT you learn more each, no need to unlock the new trees for example!

What I miss is not the frailty and stupidity of those escorts, but the mechanics of moving through the dungeon with another is nice. That orc gunslinger that accompanies you in the town is nice, bu the seems rather wimpy to me.

I do not miss the escorts. This whole genre is random enough without my skill set depending on npcs who may or may charge into certain death,.

I think, outside of a few builds I've seen which are desperate for a few specific escorts, escorts are more fun for the unexpected challenge play than anything else. The rewards are nice, but not game-defining. It is frustrating when they manage to off themselves for no good reason.
