The vault not working?

The vault not working?
I keep getting an error when trying to put items in the vault. I've donated before, but wasn't sure if that was the problem or if something was wrong with the vault.
Re: The vault not working?
its one of the listed below
1) do you have an account? the Donator status must be attached to an account.
2) have you tried using item other than the blood of life? certain items are not allowed in there.
3) I am sure there are other reasons.
4) its a bug

Is it an LUA error? Because if it's not, then it happens sometimes (read: often, in my case at least.)
Re: The vault not working?
not a lua. It just comes up telling me there was an error to try again later. Yes, I log in to the game. Yes I donated, however it was before I created an account.
Re: The vault not working?
Get in touch with DG, your account may not be properly linked to the donation
Re: The vault not working?
and how would you recommend contacting him? I'm having the same issue. I assumed purchasing the game (and expansions) on Steam counts towards this as well as it clearly states that the vault becomes available on purchase... but maybe it only lets you "open it" for purchasing, then you have to donate more to actually get use from it?
I don't have any items in the vault. It's not telling me that it's full, it says "error transferring ___ to the online vault, please try again later." I am connected to the server - it does occasionally say i've lost connection but almost immediately says i'm connected afterwards (I'm on a 30kb line from Time Warner, I highly doubt it's my connection).

Re: The vault not working?
Daonitre, I recommend using the Contact form on the main website (found here: http://te4.org/contact). But yes, you are correct. Purchasing the game through Steam is essentially the same thing as donating money. I can't remember exactly what the ratio is, but the more you spend, the more item vault slots you get access to.
And it was such a good idea...

Re: The vault not working?
Did you ever get this issue resolved?
Steam should be sufficient, I did my purchase that way, and had immediate access to the vault. That said, my access to it is wonky; about 1/3 of the time it will give me an error message stating that a part didn't get placed in the vault, when it actually has, but also leaves it in my inventory, duplicating the part. It also sometimes claims that it's inaccessible due to lack of connection (with no item duping), and then comes back online a couple of minutes later.
All in all, it's pretty buggy, (and transfers are slow) but it's the reason I bought my copy, so I'll take buggy over non-existent.
As an aside, my Steam purchase got me 6 slots; presumably this is standard? Not sure if the number of slots might be affected if you get it on sale.
