Steam version and Donator stuff.

So, with non-steam version you had to be logged in to server to access donator stuff (Stone Wardens, Exploration, etc) and that's fair enough to authorize you donated, etc. But, on steam (where you get all that if you buy the game and connect it to tome account), you well, had to buy the game to play it through steam. Wouldn't it be possible to make it so that when you play through steam, you get access to all the donator things even if you have no internet connection? There is no need for further authorization if the game can detect the simple fact that you are running it through steam, even if steam and the game were in offline mode.. That would be very convenient.
