Or if no teleport, it's a grave mistake then to not have a movement infusion (if found none, buying one from a shop is a must) before entering high risk dungeons like the farportals.
In your screenshot, a movement infusion would have saved your character as the exit is close enough so you would have not been hit.

Yes, me too. I used Eden's Guile to run as far away as I could, but to no avail. The devourers can of course jump around you. I'm not even sure a movement infusion would have saved me.

IIRC they only jump when Frenzied, and that's only possible after you're either bleeding or wounded.
