Escorting people can really grind you down sometimes.

Heh, this is a great comic :) What software did you use? I really like that blur effect on the anti-magic pit.

Oh man, it took me four reads to realize that the triangular thing on panel 6 wasn't a shark fin, but the sage dude's wizard hat. Love the smug grins on the ziguranth welcoming comitée.

Paint.NET's glow and motion blur tools mostly, with a little fragment for the grinder.

As an addition, while putting the comic together I had a crack at doing every class in this style. This is what came out:

Jumpin' ghasts and ghouls, that's even better!

Personal favorites:

1: Solipsist

2: Reaver - the faaaaace

3: Marauder - so cute

4: Cursed - so gloomy

5: Berserker - great pose

This should be a splash screen for ToME after you unlock all classes :)

you know with the custom boot module this could be the background.... need something to go in the background though

*edit*
Any chance you could rearrange it into a 800*600? it would then fit the tome splash screen

I have never met anyone to whom I would WANT to say this before, but....

Burb Lulls, please don't play ToME so much.

Every minute you're playing ToME is another minute you aren't creating something hysterical for us to laugh at, and both this and Eyalbook have been a smash hit. I literally still can't stop laughing at Eyalbook (Especially the necro/zigur portion, and wyrmic lemons... *giggles*) and this only tops it. You have managed to perfectly capture a valid reason to make me WANT to send escorts to Zigur... And I hate doing that! And it of course, brings to mind all the famous escort deaths. Rolling in poison ivy, drowning yourself in fear of a venus fly trap... Leroy Jenkins imitation into a dragon pit...

You deserve a place of eternal honor for bringing us such joy, right up there with Darkgod himself.

Edit: And was this designed to mimic the artstyle of Order Of The Stick, or is that coincidence/all in my head?

Why does the Cursed make me giggle so much? He looks less like he's insane and more like he's moderately upset with his current employment.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).
