Transmogrify makes same gold as store?

If I sell an item to a store, will I get more gold than if I transmogrify it?

Only if it's a very large number of items with a very small individual cost, like ammo used to be. Stores have a minimum gold-per-item they will pay, transmogrify properly multiplies sub-0.1-cost items. Stores also have a maximum gold they will pay per item (which varies on a store-by-store basis). Otherwise, stores and transmogrify use the same cost calculations.
