Summoners in the Sand Worm Lair
Anyone know why my summons (specifically fire imps) won't attack some enemies in the sand worm lair?

I'm pretty sure they'll only attack hostile enemies. Some of the worms, the burrowers I think they are actually called are neutral, so your summons shouldn't attack them.

Yeah, it's not an issue with the burrowers. It's the yellow 'w' and 'D' that are killing me. I summon and my summons follow me around not killing nor attacking as if there aren't any enemies in sight.

Confirm, this happened to me, too (fire imps taking a nap, and I don't mean stunned/blinded/frozen, while there were like 10 enemies on screen).

Re: Summoners in the Sand Worm Lair
Nice to know I'm not crazy, was going to get another summoner there today to make sure. I don't know if I've every played a summoner in the Sand Worm Lair before....it's not exactly a friendly environment for them so I can't be sure how long this has been around.
Re: Summoners in the Sand Worm Lair
Also, I'm pretty sure this happened to me also in a couple of other situations outside of the SWL, but in there it was happening quite often.

Re: Summoners in the Sand Worm Lair
I just had it happen in the Old Forest. I was returning from the bottom when I ran into some white worms. My fire imp let them spawn until they were almost out of control. By the time I realized what was happening I summoned a War Hound but by then my imp had realized that the worms were an enemy and had started attacking so I'm not sure if my Hound would have sat by and let me die too.
Re: Summoners in the Sand Worm Lair
You're definitely right, same for me: summoning another creature (even of the same type IIRC) would wake up the napping imp.

Found the problem, explained it and submitted a possible fix in the bug thread.
