But seriously, it needs to be a bit more painful to resurect your golem. I'm in Carn Dum and I just send that killing machine out while I hide behind a corner and then go out and collect the gold!

Give the golem a big stick (say, a certain troll's stump) and he can whomp most stuff in a solo setting in the first few zones. Beware groups though (especially if you have any points in explosion exp). By the time that first stick begins to lack power, you will have access to class talents that boost your golem's efficacy with better weapons.

Looking forward to my next iterations with the alch (not too much... damn doomed to the rng again...).

In a classic move on my part I took my L23 Alchemist that I worked up last night and got him killed in 3 mins of pre-work play.

And yeah, the Golem had Bill's greatmaul. His power became much more modest once I reached Tal Falas (sp?), and I don't really think they need a nerf.


I was thinking about naming the golem also
