I've been playing rogue-likes on and off for several years. Became obsessed with them after getting close to ascending in NetHack (and then accidentally putting on an amulet of strangulation)

I played TOME occasionally before this version, but never really in depth. But after trying out TOME 4, I have to say that even in it's early beta stages, it's one of the most captivating rogue likes I've ever played, with the Alchemist being possibly my favorite class (Though I think it needs a few nerfs).

I'm a pretty avid programmer, entering a few of the 7DRL competitions, and even though nothing beats creating your own, this comes damn close.

Thanks for keeping it free.

Thanks for working on it with such passion.

And most of all, thanks for the fun.

Thanks, such messages are what keeps me going on !

What 7DRL did you make BTW ?
Maybe next time you'll use TE4 to make one!
[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD

Many, many, many, many thanks from me, as well, an old dedicated 2.x player. (Especially under theme--whither hast thou gone, furiosity?!)

That game gave me uncountable happy hours. As things slowed down on T3, I moved on to Dwarf Fortress. But I just happened to randomly check if there was activity, and I find T4, along with 8 betas! Just wonderful.

Happily downloading #7 (I'm on a mac), and looking so much forward to trying this out!

Again, darkgod, my highest praise for T2, and I cannot say how excited I am at, or express enough gratitude for, the progress on T4.
