I think Ogres (and possibly Shalore too) should do as the undead do, and start with a Heat Beam rune instead of the Phase Door rune they typically start with. Having no phys condition removal for the first dungeon or so is especially irritating in the TW start, as I'm always getting pinned.

The Phase Door rune is very useful for the Shaloren start though. Its a good get-me-out-of-here when you need some space.

Having just got instakilled by stone touch on live (stone touch functions like sleep except it doesnt break on taking damage), is stone touch and stoning poisons on the beta affected in the same way as sleep, in so far as you can use instant cast abilities? If not, it should be. I got hit for 6 turns of stoning, meaning enemies got 6 turns to my 0. I was dead by the 3rd turn.

I'm getting a massive slowdown after about 15-30 minutes of play. Restarting the game seems to clear the issue completely.

I've noticed that the problem has gotten far more severe at higher levels than low. I'm playing a temporal warden. Best guess is that it might have something to do with the temporal clones? Either that, or particle effects that only showed up higher level buffs.

I haven't gotten another class up enough to see if they get the effect as well. Can try later, if that would be useful. I've also noticed that memory usage is up about 80% on a game that's been running for a while vs the same save right after a restart.

In 1.3 you no longer lose a rank when you go up to insane/madness, so you'll be immune to stoning anyway.
