Is there a way to delete characters that I'm not seeing?

Sometimes I'll run a character so badly (or just want to test something), and I just want to give up on 'em, and stop having them clutter the load list. Is there a way to delete a character without finding a way to kill yourself? I'm not seeing any option for that, nor can I find raw savefiles to delete by hand.

You can find the savefiles in your home/T-Engine/4.0/tome/save/

the other way is to just create a new character over the old one.
