Welcome Back!

#1 Post by Thrugg »

I just gotta say thanks DarkGod! I have been an avid Tome(2.x) player for...forever (since PernBand) and was sad to see that my favorite variant had gone into the 'no-longer-updated' list.

For all the other players/lurkers out there, I just wanted to give my thanks for sticking with it after all these years. I cant wait to play the new version, though sadly I'm stuck at work for now...

Well, I mentioned before that I knew I'd have to give this a shot at long last if the next generation ever arrived well under way---so that's what I'll just have to do at some point!

Likewise congrats on this next stage of doings, here's to hoping to a good time had by all with bugs and other troublesome bits discovered and destroyed in turn as it rolls onward.

I thought I'd cured my addiction to this game... guess I was wrong.
Having satellite internet is a lot like relying on the processes described in those RFC's for your internet. Except, instead of needing to worry about statues interrupting your connection, this time you worry about the weather. I have satellite internet. Fun, no?

I'm glad you've achieved what you set out to do. The "lock yourself away and get on with it" is a tremendous risk, ever hold off but then you need to bring ever more and so it can run away, but time to relax a while - oh go on, it's not forbidden.

--- edit ---

Ahh, then read 'development' thread, you weren't entirely locked away ... much better, but allowed less relaxation :)

There are a few things I don't like so far, but setting aside those for another thread, I echo my congrats and thanks! I was pleasantly surprised to see the announcement.

PS: My first thought was that it looks like somebody's been playing Dragon Age: Origins a little too much!

forkbomb: Yes I quite liked it so I took some inspiration for the stat names and the general organisation of talents :)
