How to unlock the Stone Warden class

#1 Post by MalachiKirlin »

I'm trying to unlock the Stone Warden class, which is a hybrid class that uses both spells and nature talents. I know that I need to be a Dwarf and have at least 10 levels in spell talents and 10 levels in nature talents. However, I'm not sure which classes and skills can help me achieve this. I've tried playing as an Alchemist, but I couldn't find any nature talents. I've also tried playing as a Wyrmic, but I couldn't find any spell talents. Is there any class that has both spell and nature talents, or any way to get them from other sources?

You can purchase Staff mastery category from Angolwen for 500 for spells, or Mindstar mastery from Zigur for 500 for nature talents.

"Easiest" class would ofc by Adventurer, but lacking that, any nature class that's not inherently antimagic is fine (just go buy the Staff mastery from Angolwen)

DFuxa Showcases - ToME: FC Davion DremWarden Ep 0 - Davion StoneUnlock

Definitely the easiest way of doing it. If you lack the Adventurer class though then collecting Escorts are another idea to look into.

Playing as Wyrmic is actually another viable way of unlocking Stone Warden, assuming that you have unlocked either one of the 'Scourge Drake' skill tree or the 'Undead Drake' skill tree, or both. Wyrmic already has plenty of nature talents available from the get-go, and these 2 unlockable talents will give you additional spell talents as well.

However you could also use Alchemist or any of the other spellcasting classes and then eat the Heart of the Sandworm Queen to gain the coveted nature talents.

I actually think that The Writhing One is the easiest way to do it nowadays if you haven't unlocked any Wyrmic spell trees yet. Some TWO or Cultist builds run Harmony because you have plenty of generics left over. Plus Healing Nexus makes Defiled Blood that much better thanks to the healmod.

You have the option to buy the Staff Mastery category from Angolwen for 500 gold for spells, or the Mindstar Mastery from Zigur for 500 gold for nature talents. If you're looking for the "easiest" class, Adventurer would be the obvious choice. However, if that's not available, any nature class that isn't inherently antimagic would suffice. In that case, you can simply purchase the Staff Mastery from Angolwen.

Sorry, Are there specific classes that naturally lend themselves to acquiring these talents, or should players consider multi-classing to achieve the necessary levels in both areas?
