Hello Everyone, I'm completely new to ToME. I've played some traditional roguelikes here and there, but nothing substantial.
Are there any must have addons for the game? Or is it better to experience it without them first?
Thanks in advance.

Better without to start with.
The base game has more than enough content in it.
And as for the QoL addons, you'll need to decide whether it feels like it changes the experience for you in a way that doesn't feel like cheating.
Adding various addons can cause bugs from incompatibilities, which isn't something you'd want to deal with early on either.

My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

Faster rest & autoexplore is a great mod.
Unlocking all races and classes if you don't want to grind them.
Better item display for a cleaner interface.
