Can Hurricane Shot hit one target six times?

I just got killed by a rare skirmisher snow giant whose hurricane shot hit me six times, seemingly in one turn, even though the talent's description says it can't hit one target more than twice in a turn. I guess I can't stand near skirmishers anymore?

You could have been slowed perhaps? Or could be a bug.
