Hey there, folks.
I went through and rebound all of my keys, and I've obviously somehow messed things up. I've attached a screenshot.
I can attack up, down, right or left (k8, k2, k4, k6 respectively).
But, I can NOT attack diagonally. I can move diagonally, using the exact same keys, but not attack.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
Update:
Having played with it a bit more, k8, k7, k1, and k3 fail to attack, but k2, k4, k5, and k6 will all attack just fine.
I'm also unable to enter Shift + k[number]. When I do, it just puts in k[number], but doesn't run me.
This is really weird.
Why aren't my attack keybinds working?

Re: Why aren't my attack keybinds working?
Not your problem probably but did you notice you've bound Shift + up both for "Run Up" and "Run Left" ?
Try to toggle your "Ver Num" and see if it works better. This kind of a standard issue for SDL programs that don't handle the keypad correctly, they get different behavior depending on "Ver Num" state.

Re: Why aren't my attack keybinds working?
I'm not sure how to toggle ver num, but I fixed up the run keys and that wasn't it.
I was able to sort out the attacking issue. By removing my 'movement' keybinds entirely, and binding my 'attack' keys only, things work as I expect them to. Apparently on the keybings screen, "Attack" is short for "Move or Attack".
I'm still stuck with the running through. Before I started customizing things I could press shift + key[number] and run, but now I can't even enter that as an option. I can enter Alt + keypad[number of control + keypad[number, but when I try to enter shift + keypad[number] it strips out the shift automatically.
Is this information stored in a config file somewhere that I can manually update?

Pretty sure it is under your t-Engine directory somewhere.Shaidyn wrote:Is this information stored in a config file somewhere that I can manually update?
