Stacking Life Leech

In case anyone was wondering (I'm sure some of the veterans already know) how multiple sources of life leech (e.g. two parasitic mindstars) stack, I did some testing and found out that the more sources of life leech you have, the better it becomes.

That's because all life leech related stats (chance and percentage of damage dealt) appear to stack additively; if you have the Bloodcaller (30% chance, 15% leech) and a mindstar with (17% chance, 21% leech), your total chance to life leech is 47% and you leech for 51% damage.

Wow, that's actually very powerful. I wonder if this stacks with Vampiric Gift too; if so, a Necromancer with Bloodcaller could be very powerful.

As far as I can tell from my necromancer experience, Vampiric Gift does indeed stack with bloodcaller. With that combo, having life leech proc even once means well over half of your missing health is restored. Tack on Sacrifice for the damage mitigation and heroism for a larger effective health pool for sacrifice to use and necromancers become incredibly tanky.

Yeah, I've been toying with the idea of building an adventurer around Vampiric + Bloodcaller for a long time.

Actually, I never noticed before this post that a mindstar can stack with both. I should build him as a mindstar wielder.

Also give him any Mindslayer tree so you can wield three Mindstars
