F2 with minions

I play Necromancer
When I have minions and try to ask the weakling where the portal is, I use F2, there is no answer.

Any clue?

F2 is for the first member of your "party". The F1-F8 keys each match a member if you have more than one. You can also just click on his icon at the top of your screen.

or right click at the "weakling" him/herself, if he/she is in your field of vision.
