Help on Last Cat Point - AM Mindstar Marauder - Insane

Hey all!

So this is my furthest Insane run I've ever done (first time I've made it past Tier 2 dungeons).

My questions i what would be suggested for my last category point? I feel like my defenses are quite strong and consist of:
-Mindstar Leaves Tide
-High regen from fungus and heal mod
-Fungal Blood Prodigy
-Subcutaneous Metallisation
-Decent armour

My offenses also feel pretty strong and most people can die as long as their regen isn't too high. My damage pen isn't high but I have two sets of weapons, one Mind damage, one nature damage so I can swap.

I've spent my cat points on Bloodthirst, Fungus, and 2 inscriptions.

Basically my concern is the final tower and the final bosses.

I'm considering either Poison, Battle tactics, or Harmony. I have 9 available class points and 6 available generics.

Battle tactics, without question! Step up is amazing. Greater weapon focus is great in the final fight.

Edit: I see you've put a lot of points into Con whilst neglecting Dex.. that makes Greater weapon focus less interesting. Alas. I'd still be inclined to go for battle tactics. Harmony might be better if you have the patience to exploit the speed boost you can get from self-damage with fire, though. Still, a marauder without Total Thuggery.. that's almost a blasphemy.

Total thuggery didn't seem that worth it considering I'm really short on general points and don't do any physical damage.

Yeah, I maxed CON to improve the effect of my two prodigies. I've found it really helpful for tanking stuff in insane.

I agree that step up is amazing. It would probably be amazing even just for high peak to add a lot of mobility without having to use my movement infusions... Yeah I think that's going to win.

My only worry is whether I'll do enough damage to kill the final bosses at high peak if their regen is higher than my damage (only about 1-2k dps on training dummy).

Edit: I just noticed Bleeding edge reduces healing - that could be useful. Definitely going for Battle Tactics now. I just need to decide how to spread my 9 points.

Step Up 5/5, no questions asked. You want this talent to be as effective and reliable as possible.

Battle Tactics and go 2/5/1/0. Bleeding Edge is really good but easy to forget about since it shares a category with two of the best talents in all of ToME. Ideally you would have maxed Dex but you haven't so GWF is less useful so leave it at 2/5. Also Step Up needs 5/5 otherwise it isn't reliable.
