How to get borders around enemies back

#1 Post by fizzix »

Rares (used to) have pink borders, Uniques (used to) have blue ones. Somehow, none of my enemies have any borders anymore. The game is a lot harder (and a lot less fun) when you can't distinguish a rare enemy from a standard windowpane enemy on sight. Any idea what controls the border size, and how to get them back. Are there any mods that make these more highly visible?

In-game, press Escape, then select Game Options, and on the first tab (UI) you find an option called Tactical overlay. Try setting this option to "Combined Big". That should do the trick.

Or press Shift-T. Repeat to your liking.

Thanks. That seems to work. I have no idea how I couldn't find that option in all my fiddling.
