That does seem like a beast to kill, though part of the issue is probably that you're facing a level 35 unique at level 21. Those can often be very hard encounters.

Can you move around it?

The ability to Disarm opponents can be important.

There's a Rune which can disarm (for a little while), and of course Wyrmics have acid breath which can disarm.
