I meant in terms of computer capabilities - kids these days are growing up in a time when computers are far more advanced. But you make an excellent point. Are computers so advanced that people no longer think for themselves? If this is true then I think it's very sad.darkgod wrote:No they do not ahve it lucky, it is so easy now that they do not need to try and understand stuff abotu the computers and soon it'll look like magic to most :/

As if we truly understand how anything in our lives work :P Come the apocalypse most of us will have little value beyond being meat for the true survivors.

Not really a problem of thinking for themselves; more a problem of not understanding what is becoming the backbone of humanity for the aeons to come :/TOMEfanatic wrote:I meant in terms of computer capabilities - kids these days are growing up in a time when computers are far more advanced. Computers are definitely the future. I enjoy them and build them. Although I must admit that I am not really a phone or tablet person. I like them and use them it's just I much prefer desktops. My 16 year old neighbor is the opposite - he uses those tablets and doesn't know the first thing about computers - neither do his friends. I have to go over their all the time to fix something with his desktop. He doesn't even know how to defrag his drive.
As for the OP, I think it's great that a six year old girl is playing a roguelike. We need more young people getting into the genre.
