So sorry to necro an old thread but I just noticed the last post and that is just an absolutely incredible post. Wow. Thanks a lot. Still loving this game, and your advice is awesome. Don't know if you'll see it but I sure appreciate the comment nonetheless.

I bet I win the game with this one. I am still a long way off, but I've taken to heart all the recommendations in this thread.
This character isn't perfect. I still need to make a few little changes here or there (particularly in choice of armor), but my 23 regeneration per turn is making things quite a bit easier.
