Viable to stack weapon masteries?
Is it ever worth the skill points to level up 2 kinds of weapons? If I understand correctly, you would at least end up with a huge amount of physical power and thus absurd overall damage, but I'm not sure you'd have enough generic points left to cover your survival. I'm thinking a marauder with sword & dagger, or a timewarden with shortstaff and dagger. Sword & mindstar could be intriguing, but I think you can't actually turn on psiblades...

1) masteries apply their bonus only to the weapon that use the mastery.
if you are using dagger and a sword, each will only use their own mastery.
2) only best apply.
If you have 2 sling masteries (from archer and from skirmisher), only the better one will apply.
If you have the temporal combat (or whatever its called) and the other 3 masteries it works as, each weapon will only use the stronger mastery.

Ah. I thought that the physical power bonus was a bonus to your character, not to the weapon. In that case, I assume that marauders all fight with double daggers?

It's a common approach, but a conventional 1h (or 2h on an ogre) + dagger can be quite effective with the marauder skillset.

In that case, do you go 5/5 weapon mastery, 0/5 dagger mastery, and a proc dagger?
