I was thinking the same thing when I started to use wintertide. But, actually it does not. Wintertide effect is not applied by the bow attacks, but by the wardens that are summoned by the bow threading talents when they perform a melee attack.edge2054 wrote:I can't reproduce this. I'm testing the second beta and I see that now the Temporal Hounds scale with the magic stat. I was wondering if this is a nerf? They used to have 65 all stats on my level 15 adventurer, now they only have 48. How much magic would I need to get parity with the old version?
Also, how does the magic scaling work? Is the scaling more linear? In this case I can see the hounds being more useful in the late game than early on. If magic also uses tier scaling for spells then I'm guessing this is a nerf as I can't really have as much magic as I can have spellpower. I'm planning a build for a nightmare game with my brother. I think the hounds are pretty cool, so I hope I can make them work. :p
I have no real way to test if they can do much end game. Does their damage scale with my levels?
EDIT: Also, a very small nitpick. Shouldn't the options when you can stroll be "Stroll" and "Stay here"? It seems a little weird to use "there" to talk about your current location. Unless the prompt consider the character and the player to be separate entities and you're giving your character an order, but the rest of the game does not do this.

yeah, it's a nerf. I'll tweak the values up a bit to account for it. It has to scale off magic though because it's way to easy to exploit otherwise.

^^ best bug ever. My skeleton is now wearing swords on his face and armor on his feet.
The real bug here is that it's not displaying. Please fix asap!
And yeah, I think fatigue and paradox is the same as it was. Twice your fatigue is a multiplier on your fail chance (so 25% fatigue would increase 2% to 3%).

On Shalore Corruptor, in ogre dungeon: phase door rune behaving as if 0 cooldown.

not gotten beta 2 yet, but apparently, developer mode goes by 'new character' ALOT faster.
