How many classes are badly affected by this? I've never been bothered by this status in the slightest, though I've also never played any rogue metaclasses. But even rogues, if what I hear tell is correct, wouldn't care in Madness dificulty, since stealth becomes useless in all practicality.
But that's why this is here. Who out there, with more experience, finds this to be a status effect worth curing? Or at least a status effect that does something and doesn't just take up space?

I'm not crying. I'm offering a sacrifice to DarkGod in hopes he'll show favor to me.

Re: Luminescence
Well, I once had a quick easy fight against a critter that illuminated me (I resisted the blind), and stupidly chose to continue exploring without waiting for the effect to end. Got stunned + off-balanced a few steps further by an unseen enemy, and of course my 2 wilds only cleared luminescence and off-balance. Lesson well learned: even a (seemingly) non-consequential effect can screw you.
Re: Luminescence
Its biggest detriment by far is when it prevents you from clearing a 'blind'.
Re: Luminescence
Oh sure, but then it's the blind you're trying to get rid of, not the luminescence itself. But the OP's question was "is luminescence a status effect worth curing?" Short answer: no, it's not, since it doesn't bring penalties by itself - but you should still consider it an ill effect, and if not in combat, at least wait for it to wear off before resuming exploration.

Glad to know I'm not an idiot. Basically what I thought of it.
Jaumito, you are 100% correct in what I was after.
