Did you change the font of the main website?

Putting my two bit in here, although it's fancy it kinda hurts my eyes. Not a real big issue here but the change was kinda random ;v

Agreed on the eyes thing. Something about that font (I think it has slightly fuzzy edges?) makes it really hard on the eyes.

I get the feeling that alot of otherwise new players would just take one look at the website and think
>comic sans or >hipster font or >special snowflake font
and leave on the spot
first impressions mean A LOT DG
even if it isn't actually comic sans, theres at least 5k would-be players that would do this, including me if I didn't already know this game was so fun
the font change is attracting less new customers than its repelling, DG

WHAT KIND OF CRUEL JOKE IS THIS DG?!

edit: thanks for changing again DG, I like the new font; it won't disgust new would-be players :)

So, I have to chime in here since I do web development / design consulting for a living.

Don't use serif fonts on websites if possible, especially not as the primary font on a website. Serif is great for printed material (Newspapers, books, magazines, etc.) because everything is universal in size. A newspaper in one persons hand isnt suddenly smaller / larger for another persons hand.

However when it comes to digital mediums, it dosen't translate well. The font might just look beautiful on DGs system, but serif has an issue going across different resolution and different sized displays. A pixel on one screen isn't necessarily the same as a pixel on another screen.

It becomes hard to read, especially if you don't have any javascript in place to detect the media you are displaying on and dynamically adjust the font / size based upon screen size.

I personally recommend calibri, I tested it in firebug and it looks great on te4.org
