it would be a quite important question in adom :3 still, it's interesting to know for flavor
elves in tome unlike tolkien ones are not immortal except shalore, but shalore weren't immortal originally either (see elven ruins lore and the chronicles of spellblaze). their lifespan is probably longer than humans (something like that is mentioned in the loremaster's diary which you can find on the west, and then it's traditional), but it's not known what it is exactly. traditionally elves live longer than dwarves, dwarves live longer than halflings and halflings live slightly longer than ordinary people. 'higher' human breed live longer than ordinary humans too too, orcs may either have short lifespan (like in adom or incursion, it's a common theme generally) or be immortal as elves (tolkien orcs are perverted elves after all). so, what do you think?
what's the lifespan of thalore, halflings, dwarves?

Re: what's the lifespan of thalore, halflings, dwarves?
We know a few dates from the lore pieces.
King Toknor (higher) died 138 years old (an old note states that this is low for a higher).
Queen Mirvenia (halfling) died on the same day, five years after her husband, also with 138 years.
The actual King Tolak is around 124 years old.
Lianiil (human archmage) is over 2600 years old.
The gravestones in the graveyard have normal spans (the three oldest persons died with 84, 88, 97 years).

The current Thaloren Queen (name escapes me right now) is about 1000 years old, I'm reasonably certain.
I'd be curious to know Yeek lifespans. Or whether they care about them...
Ghouls, too, now that I think about it.

linaniil is a special case (is she cornac?), she ate a body of fallen god and became immortal (and didn't even care to make her race immortal like her shaloren friend did)Massimiliano Marangio wrote: Lianiil (human archmage) is over 2600 years old.
