Are the Prodigies you need to stretch for worth it?

In particular, I'm looking at Through the Crowd, Windtouched Speed, Mystical Cunning, and Spectral Shield. These are all prodigies with difficult requirements. Classes that can meet the special requirements for them generally don't want the high dexterity or magic required for them. Is it worth it to stretch your stats just for any of these prodigies?

Through the crowd seems pretty easy to hit for a summoner or a necromancer, which are the two classes I would kinda consider getting it on anyway.

Windtouched Speed and Spectral Shield both offer very powerful effects.

Mystical Cunning I can't say much on, but it seems to get taken from time to time.

You only need the 50 required stat in total, not in base stats. Just save all the +stat gear you can find, equip it, get the prodigy, then go back to your regular gear.

I know items help you qualify. But say I want Mystical Cunning. I'm playing either a rogue, an archer, or a marauder. There's normally no reason to invest any magic at all into those classes. So I'd need ~40 points of magic worth of items. That's a tall order, even for late game. The same goes for Spectral Shield for a bulwark. The same goes for dex for Through the Crowd for a summoner or necromancer. I very probably won't be able to acquire any of those with item stat boosts alone. I'd have to invest at least some.

Gravity Trap was considered so overpowered by Insane players that it was recently nerfed, IIRC.

Spectral Shield is crazy worth it if you combine it with Eternal Guard. Crazy worth it.

Blighted Summoning on a solipsist is brilliant. usually I can't get it to lvl 50, as getting 50 MAG on an AM character takes time!
