What's the official cannon on dwarf beards?

Healthy discussion is (from what I've seen) never discouraged.

Blatant nay-saying... Not so much. Grey is the loremaster, and I'm reasonably certain only Darkgod himself has a bigger say in the lore of ToME. Saying he's "wrong" about it's lore is... wrong.

That isn't to say we can't dispute it. If we offered up reasonable evidence and our own points, we can have an aformetioned "healthy" discussion. If we just say "no", why make a topic at all?

Unrelated, mostly, but I hope female dwarves sport beards. Whether or not they can be distiguished from male dwarves. If, of course, the majority rules otherwise, then they rule otherwise.

Only female dwarves have beards.

Men go "bald" by middle-age and tend to stay at home.

The only dwarves most outsiders ever encounter are thus female.

This harmless fact is concealed from other races because dwarves.

plus...who cares? This is DarkGod and Greys universe. You can't claim that their dwarves are / are not cannon, or go against "the norm" when the norm is whatever they say it is. This isnt WarCraft. This isnt Middle Earth. THIS. IS. MAJ'EYAL!!!!

What? I feel cheated. If the Orcs get Garkul, why can't the dwarves get some cannon-in-beard wielding superhero? Maybe they'll get one with the Steampunk campaign...

I'm so happy I became a donator so I can pick a donator tile when I play female dwarves instead of fretting about them looking too hairy.
