Hallo
I play the second tutorial.
And always i read: attribute a vs attribute c
Like the Spell: Bleed
explanation: Bleed is a Spell so it use your Spellpower but the bleeding is physical so its calculate with physical save.
But wherefrom can i know it? The Tutorial say its me, but in the normal game?
Very nice would it be when i right click on the enemy and when i go over the order / Spell etc there is shown what attributes are confliced. And much better when i could read it on the description from the Spell / Talent or Perk etc.
(sry my bad english; I hope you can read it XD

Re: How do I know what needs to an attribute of the attack
If you mouse over a char (or you), you have all the informations: physical|spell|mental power/save, as well as accuracy/defence and all the resistances.
You can also get these and other informations by right-clicking a char to 'inspect' him (or using 'C' to get informations on the player).
Actually what you said is not fully correct. Power vs save is only used to determine if the effect applies. The actual effectiveness, duration, etc, of the effect is determined by the level of the talent (or the item, etc) that applied the effect. Also even if the power vs save test fails and the effect is applied, a high save can reduce the effect duration.

Re: How do I know what needs to an attribute of the attack
Hi thx for your answer, but you write like i dont had do this.
look Blink:
effectiv talent level
usemode
range
cooldown
travel spped
usage speed
discription
And no discription from the effect of this spell
and when i go over an char with this spell i dont see any information
if blink a magical mental or physical "spell/talent"
And his effect i dont see anywhere too and his attributes.
You say its clearly simple to see. It could be that i blind, so pls show me a picture where i can see what you can see
thx

Re: How do I know what needs to an attribute of the attack
Blink does not have any effect. It is just a short range teleport.
When an effect is applied, you have to check the effect applying power versus the save.
The power depends on the mean that applies the effect
If the power is applied by a weapon/ammo it uses the physical power.
If the talent is a spell (it is indicated in the talent description), it is the spellpower
If the talent is mental (and most talents that are not a spell neither a weapon are mental), it is the mental power.
The save that is used depends on the type of the effect :
stun, slow, daze, blind, etc are physical effects
confuse, fear, etc are mental effect
most others are magical effects
For instance consider the spell "illuminate" that lights a room and can blind ennemies.
It is a spell so the spell power will count and blind is a physical effect so the physical save will be used. And the game will check Spell power vs physical save to determine if the effect is applied.
If you have a weapon that can blind on hit, the check will be physical power (because it is a weapon) vs physical save
To get the power/saves you just have to mouse over a character (see screen dump)
On this char for instance, you have a Physical power (P. power) of 10 and a physical save (P. Save) of 6
and ditto for spell (S.) and mental (M.) powers and saves.
