Reinstallation help

I had an error trying to start the game, so I tried to uninstall the game, I couldn't find any uninstall file so I tried deleting the files, and now when I press Play on the launcher, nothing happens. Any advice on how I can find all of the files for the game to remove it properly or just a way to reinstall the game?

Delete the entrie folder and download a new launcher.

That's the problem, I can't find any folder with the files in it, I can only find the launcher, so I can't delete all of the game files.

But what files did you delete, and did you delete the launcher?

I didn't pay much attention to it, I just deleted three files that were all ToME related and then deleted the launcher and the save file. Not sure which ones they were though.

What folder were these files in? 3 files related to tome sounds... very low for the game folder.

They were all in my Downloads folder, I assume all of the files are in there, but I can't tell which is which, it's very messy with random files from previously downloaded games. Is there any way to tell which files are ToME related?

All the files for the game should be in the actual tome folder you specified with the launcher... And they should be in there own dedicated folder... (T-engine 1.0.4 for the current version, though that's because I got them from the .zip, instead. Not sure what the launcher names the folder.

Sitting in my T-engine folder, are a folder called 'bootstrap' a folder called 'download' and a folder called 'game'. On top of that are the files CONTRIBUTING (No extension, or am I reading this wrong on my version of windows. Just says 'file'), COPYING, COPYING-TILES, CREDITS (same lack of extension on those 3), launcher_log.txt, libfreetype-6.dll, libogg-0.dll, libpng-12-0.dll, libpng15-15.dll, libpng-3.dll, libvorbis-0.dll, libvorbisfile-3.dll, OpenAL32.dll, SDL2.dll, SDL2_image.dll, SDL2_ttf.dll, soft_oal.dll, te4_log.txt, t-engine.exe, t-engine-launcher.exe, and zlib1.dll.

That's for the windows full version with music. Not sure what version you have, or what OS. And for future reference, cluttering all your downloads for everything in a folder sounds... haphazard and problematic.

I also take no responsibility for tinkering with the files named, in case something in your folder is from something else. Ask someone wiser then me.

That's exactly what I needed, thank you very much Aura! I usually for all of my games make a folder, but for some reason I didn't for this one, and it did cause trouble. But I've successfully reinstalled the game, thanks for the help guys.
