Echoes of the Past doing MUCH more damage than it should?

#1 Post by Heresiarch »

Hi all. I've noticed that there's something wrong with Echoes of the Past. It seems it's doing way more damage than it's supposed to be, and that's only counting the basic damage, not the extra percentage damage.

For instance, my 5/5 EotP currently says doing 116 basic damage, but in reality it does 170. In the temporal elemental form, it's listed like 210 damage, but does 33X damage.

I've tried the other temporal damage spells for comparison, and they're find - they're doing exactly the listed damage.

Is there a bug?

You mean, description says much less damage, than it does? :)

EftP's listed damage may not take into account damage multipliers. Do you have about +40% temporal damage?
<Ferret> The Spellblaze was like a nuclear disaster apparently: ammo became the "real" currency.

At first, I mentally processed this as "33 times more damage"

All chronomacer damage scales with Paradox.
This bonus is not displayed on the talents though.

No, Paradox and Temporal damage bonuses are all already taken into account.

All the other spells - Dust to Dust, Turn Back the Clock, Time Skip...etc are scaling properly with the bonuses, and do damage as listed. But only EotP are doing much more damage than it's listed.

I tested once again and it's crazy - in Temporal Form, Time Skip does exactly the same damage as listed, but EotP does 400 base Temporal damage (i.e. not including the extra percentage damage) while it's listed only 211!

Aaaah, that's IT! yes apparently EftP's listed damage doesn't take damage multipliers into account!

We should get this typo fixed.
