Just installed and I dont have an addons folder, help please

Hey, sorry to bother anyone with this but saw this game and thought it looked cool so wanted to try it out as I love rougelikes. I was advised to get the oldrpg tileset addon which I liked the look of but I don't have the folders its saying I should, have been looking for this games/addons folder for ages. Is it a change in the new download or is it my Windows 8? The only this I could find was a folder called T-Engine 4 but doesn't have an addons folder in it either.

Not familiar with the windows install, but you should have an application folder where your "t-engine.exe" executable is.
Inside the same folder where the executable is found, you should also have a "game/addons" folder...

The other folder you found is where all your settings, achievements and other game-related informations are stored.

You are looking in the user files.
Try looking where you installed the game.
