I'm playing a ghoul character now, probably for the first time "seriously", and I noticed that there's an air meter whenever I step into water. This was really unexpected - although I have to admit that I have never actually seen a ghoul of Eyal before..

They do breath *less*, though.

The basic idea is that things that have flesh need to breathe, the ghoul does not breathe has you and me, but it needs some air to keep his flesh "intact"

So are Ghouls undead in an ontological sense, but still living?
I suppose that would mean they're capable of reproduction so long as their death (or life) didn't hinder that. Also, breathing means music. Now I'm imagining a Ghoul society with a Ghoul king, a Ghoul jester, Ghouls vying for the throne...
