Slaver compound?

#1 Post by Roguelike Enthusiast »

I busted down to the bottom of the slaver compound dungeon, where I played a game with the leader of the slavers. I got some sort of ring out of it, might be good for melee classes but looks pretty shitty for my alchemist. Can you attack this guy afterwards for whatever reason?

That ring's actually pretty incredible on just about anyone :P

Alchies in particular... iirc, it has a chance to proc off of every source of damage you deal. That's another way of saying it's got a 15% chance per target your bomb hits to heal 30% of the damage. And then another chance off of every burn tick, if you're using fire. It comes out to it not being uncommon to get a good 150-200+ hp heal, close to every turn, quite early on, and later (and stacked on top of a bloodstone bomb) to be getting absolutely ridiculous healing per toss. A++ would recommend

As someone above me said, that ring is absolutely amazing for alchemists. Later in the game, I was getting almost too much healing from it.
