Armour that requires strength...

If I wear a Behemoth armour (req 22 str) and after that removes a cap of strength so that str drops below 22,
will I now loose the benefits from the armour?

No, you only need stats to get anything (including both equipment and talent requirements). You do not need it to maintain them.
