Key binding for equipment

When we start certain characters, Orb of Scrying is bound to a key. I want to bind the Transmorgification Chest to a key during the game. Is this possible?

Yep. Mouse over the item in your inventory and type the hotkey you want to use. I use ctrl-6 for the chest
