Nightmare/insane: currently, differences between these modes are really minimal (% healing, % damage...). So either blend them or add more nasty effects to Insane mode (for example: no regen -- only items can replenish life/mana, monsters get double life and cheat item levels for their carried items, no monster drops, ironman dungeons, ...)darkgod wrote:What about:

RPG mode: RPGs are usually 1 life. You make a mistake, game over. But you can reload an old save game and continue from that point. It would be confusing, as people would expect their saved game to be available in "RPG" mode when they die instead of multiple lives.
Would it be possible to implement a RPG mode in ToME4? That would in fact be better than the "multiple lives" mode...
