While I'm waiting for madmonk's hand to get better and shoob to remember that terrible thing that must be fixed ( ;> ) I did not go asleep!
I added quite a few things(RFT tomorrow or tonight), most notably:
- New zone: ancient elven ruins, full of real nice and friendly mummies and holders of the sword Ringil ! This is a mid-level (25/30) zone, 3 levels deep made with an all new map generator, the TileSet generator!
- New zone: the flooded cave, full of cozy sea-life and other water horrors, but deep within there is a secret (very very secret since it is not implemented yet ;> )
- Wilderness Encounters that allows to pop friendly quests, random merchants, random bandits and so on. It can even define in what parts of the wilderness the encounters can happen

- New town "Angolwen". Hidden in the depths of a mountain it is Gandalf's last secret project. A secret place of power where elves and men were taught the secrets of the arcane arts in fear that Gandalf would not succeed in its task, or that he would die. This is the place all mages come from and they all get a fre teleport talent to it.
- new "special" wilderness encounter: the Mage Apprentice. He may appear in some areas of the map and gives a quest to the player. he will reward mages with a nice magic ring and non mages with knowledge of Angolwen and a portal to it (and its position on the world map)
Angolwen has some specific shops and will probably provide quests later on.
Now given this background I am thinking of my bold move:
If mages are supposed to come from a secret place, maybe mages should not be playable from the start and be instead unlocked like wilders ?
PS: Angolwen is the contraction of 2 sindar words, angol (magic/knowlegde) and golwen (learning) :>
