General spelling:

Peneration should be penetration

I still think equillibrium fail code should be looked at... either that or the message should change if you fail with equilibrium at 0 (yes I have done that).

also I am pretty sure that there should be a comma after Trollshaws in all those descriptions above. also that old forest part is confusing... at first I thought it was talking about the old forest... maybe take out the old, or substitute a synonym.

hmm... do you want summoning to be los, I killed the shade simply by summoning imps down there while standing on the up stairs ;)

I am fine either way, this way, if you get a means of telepathy/detect monsters you could win quite easily (without getting damaged by monsters).

also make it so you cant go up or down while encumbered...

that said, I have completed the first 2 quests now as a summoner... off to see the OF now. I am 5% away from lvl 9 (I think there are more monsters on one of the levels as it rests slowly, but I cant find them :(.

oh, and could you show total encumbrance too for stacked items (maybe separately)

that works... and for some reason that seems less confusable with the OF than it was before.

hmmm... got down a couple levels into the OF before I succumbed to the map boundary bug (monsters stack there).

at least I know my build is viable.

hehehe, just like you are waiting for my monsters, I am waiting for new summons ;)

hmm... how about a flying summon for the last melee summon (like a griffin or hippogriff or wyvern).

Map boundary bug ??

Summoning should respect LOS sorry ;)
The last melee is Stone Golem which gets a Quake talent (PBAOE knockback+damage).
Distance wee get Fire Imp, 3 headed hydra (breaths lightning, acid and poison in a frontal cone), Warper (not sure, but probably casts gravity-like effects) and Fire Drake (the full assortment of fire drake talents: roar, devouring fire, frontal flame, wing buffet).
The utility line gets a Turtle that grabs the attention of things around and tanks them. The benevolent spirit which heals your summons and the Spider that slows/root your foes.
The last talent will be Control which allows direct control of a summon.
A new line will appear in next RFT: Summon - Augmentation which will have:
- Rage: increase melee damage of a summon for a while
- Detonate: explodes a fire imp in a burst of flames, explode a spirit in a burst of healing or explode a jelly in a mass of slowing goo.
- Resilience: increase CON and uptime of summons
- Phase Summon: switch places with a summon

How does that sound?

At the same time I'll add the Drake-touched (though a better name would be nice) Wilder class. They get access to the Drake Aspect talent(Sand, Fire and Cold for now, may add more) to complement their melee fighting.

Oh and yes shoob, you can fail at 0 equilibrium ads it takes your current + talent cost to compute it.

I also noticed that summoned jellies tended to have low hp, despite having high con... hmmm (I had one with 51 con and only 180 hp)

map boundary bug is basically like the problem with multiply, creatures can stack on top of each other when there is a black boundary patch next to them.

The Shop bug...

If you look closely you will see me out and about (I am near shop 4). The shop screen has not closed.

If I save and reload it disappears. There is nothing in STDOUT. What would you like?

hmm.... what about the possibility of a potion that lowers equillibrium by a small amount? right now poison and lightning and ice traps are one of a wilders best friends (though if/when meditation/commune is put in that should change)
