ToME music taste

#1 Post by Faeryan »

ToME players are a weird bunch at times so I thought they might have equally weird music tastes.
This is why the question goes out as What kind of music do you prefer?

Personally as I've grown older my tastes have mellowed a bit too include just about any genre if the music is good, except for maybe acid jazz.
Usually I just prefer to listen melodic death metal. To name some favorites I'd have to say Five Finger Death Punch, Before The Dawn, In Flames, Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity and such.

Melodic.... Death metal?

DOESNOTCOMPUTE.

As for my preferences, I'll give most anything a try at least once, but a vast majority of my stuff comes from here: http://www.ocremix.org (And their radio version here: http://ocr.rainwave.cc/)

Btw, what was that lady with voice of melted honey called? I'm a bit bored at work so I hope you notice this before I get home so I have something to listen to.

Thinking about ungodly voice I just gotta post this piece by Joseph LoDuca (with vocals by Felicia Sorenson) from the movie Brotherhood of the Wolf.

Jillian Aversa. Older stuff might be under her maiden name of Jillian Goldin, before she married.

A few samples: http://jillianaversa.bandcamp.com/
Her work on more unusual music with her husband here (she's the female singer on any track with female vocals. http://zirconstudios.bandcamp.com/album ... y-sequence (And older albums, not necessarily with her on them.)
And her tracks off OCRemix. http://ocremix.org/artist/4659/jillian-aversa

Enjoy, though with comments about Melodic Death Metal, she's likely not up your alley.

Now you're being over critical when I should be. :)

I also said a good music is good music no matter the genre (actually I'm not sure if I said it but I should have)

I found few of her records on spotify and listening them now. Quite a vice I must say and though the genre ain't exactly my cup of coffee I like the Celtic-ish clang of it.

My usual jam is http://intergalactic.fm. 6 channels of assorted non-commercial electronic stuff, ranging from classic disco to techno to obscure soundtracks and ambient.
